Cute Target Christmas Decorations made my mantle pop and look incredibly festive. Love Target Dollar Spot for inexpensive Christmas decorations.
Christmas is so different this year for me.
This is not a bad thing, but it did come up on us quickly.
It hasn’t helped that a few of us came down with the “stomach flu” and were down for a bit.
So what is so different this year?
- Well, we moved four months ago, so Christmas is in a new temporary space. So there’s that.
- Then, I might have mentioned my daughter is engaged and expecting her first child February 29.
- It’s my first grandbaby. (you know in case you missed all the annoucements I’ve made everywhere).
- Her fiance is living with us. Which is perfect and he’s great but it makes things different this year as we adjust to include him in everything. It’s important to me he feel like part of the family.
Other than that, the only other thing that has changed is that we got a new bigger tree, my colors changed for the season and I finally, finally have a mantle I can be proud of. Thank you Target.
I will share my other decorations in another post, but this simplistic look is my new mantle and I love it.
The PEACE stocking holder were $30 for the set. I love them. We needed 5 and PEACE is 5 letters, so there we go.
The three pillows across the top of the mantle were $3.00 each.
The tree was $3.00 and is decorated with some other items I got for $1.00 from the Target Dollar Spot.
I don’t know where I got the snowman, I’ve had him for years. He matched so well, that he was placed there.
The stockings we have had for a few years with the exception of the middle one (santa) since we bought it this year for my future son in law. Sadly we bought it before I put this whole look together, so on my wish list to complete this look…
I love the knitted look, the monograms. I definitely want these. One for each family member and I bought a small one already for a certain baby that will be in our lives next year, so we need everyone to have one.
This is the first year I’ve really had green and red. Yep, that’s right. Up until this year, I have been a blue, white and silver girl. When I show off our tree you will be able to tell. haha We are finally starting to add color to it, but there’s not as much.
So are you happy about any of your Christmas decorations? If you’ve done a post, link me in the comments so I can come and see! I love seeing what others have done.
