My planner addiction has completely consumed my life. I spend hours on etsy looking at planner supplies. An now I’d like to share my Erin Condren unboxing.
On an average day, I am pretty wrapped up in planners and planner supplies.
I spend hours driving around town to all my local Target’s so I can hit the Dollar Spot, and don’t even get me started on all the different Dollar Stores in the area.
Did you know if you’re lucky you can find Washi tape at the dollar store? I didn’t until recently.
But let’s do this Erin Condren Unboxing.
It’s An Erin Condren Unboxing
I wanted to do a video unboxing, however I am currently waiting on my GoPro Hero4 to get here, and I’m sorry.
My planner addiction is too strong for me to hold off opening this thing and using it until it arrives and I learn to use it (still about a week or two out, I believe).
So I opened it, and took photos along the way. So you can still experience it. Just in a still mode. ha!
After ordering my first Erin Condren planner, I quickly caught the planner bug. I’ve always been a planner but I’ve never really cared much about what kind of planner I had.
Then I discovered EC (as well as Plum Paper Planners, which I also covet) and I was sold.
After about a week of owning my first Erin Condren planner, I decided I wanted to ARC it.
I thought it would be easier and more cost effective to add things.
However, after doing so I then regretted it shortly there after. I knew it was time to get another one and leave it as is.
No ARCing, no cutting. Just keeping it as it arrived.
Last time I ordered the Quick Ship Planner with the standard cover, but this time I decided I wanted to customize it.
So, the box looks like this. Super cute.
I love the purple and think it’s fun that they decorate their boxes.
The sticky note is covering my physical address.
Time to open this baby up!
Once you get the lid up on the box, you are greeted with more purple.
I love that they wrap everything with the purple tissue paper. It’s like you’re opening a gift, which in my world, this so is.
The sticker is adorable and they always include a few extra stickers and labels for you to use on all kinds of things.
I ordered the Pen Holder again so I can carry a pen with me everywhere.
Also, I ordered a set of the coil clips because until I make them myself, I need some to get by.
They wrap everything with bubble wrap underneath the tissue paper which is awesome because it keeps your precious planner and accessories, safe.
Here is the pen holder up close. I will just attach it inside the back cover.
I will show that to you in another post, or maybe even a video soon. (I’m chomping at the bit to do a video!)
Here are the coil clips up close as well.
I love these and would rather buy them than make them, however making them just makes more sense and is WAY more cost effective.
I’m all about saving money so I can splurge on other planner supplies. (my guy is currently rolling his eyes at me)
And for the Pièce de résistance
Here is my wonderful planner in all it’s glory.
I ordered Erin Condren Life Planner in Fleur Feliz in the color splash. I love it.
Since I was customizing it, I had to decide what I wanted on the planner.
It’s difficult since my primary business is actually my food blog.
But after a lot of thought, I realized that Crazed Mom fits me a lot better and since I want to grow this blog in 2015, it was the perfect addition to the cover.
I’m not sorry and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!
(2020 update: I no longer have Crazed Mom, what was is now this site, An Introverted Plan!)
I will spend the next few days getting everything moved from my Arc’d Erin Condren to this one and then I will show off a few weekly spreads so you can get a feel for how I use it.
I loved sharing my Erin Condren Unboxing with you, and I hope to share many more.
In addition to this planner, I also use a bullet journal.
I didn’t realize it had a name, but for years I have been keeping “to-do” lists in a notebook, and this year I discovered bullet journaling which is about the same thing.
About the same time, I discovered May Designs Notebooks and Foxy Dori’s and now I’m more organized than I ever have been before!
Here is a sneak peek at mine. I will probably do a “How I use” video once the camera arrives and I have time to play.
This Foxy Dori is the Wide and the stain is Paradise. Isn’t she beautiful?
My newest baby is my Bay Leather Pocket, which I have filled with Notebooks from Yellow Paper House.
So I’ll show you all that later, but there’s your sneak peek.
What’s your planner of choice? Do you share in my planner addiction?
