It was a good mail day! Nothing like a beautiful Erin Condren 2017 LifePlanner arriving. It came much earlier (by two weeks) than they initially predicted. I was pretty happy to receive the shipping notice. And then when this beautiful blue box arrived, I was definitely giddy.
I haven’t ordered since last year and last time the box was white. I love this blue box. Popping the lid, I was greeted with the classic Erin Condren packing job, like opening a gift. Beautiful tissue paper secured with a sticker that says “enjoy!”. I believe I will Erin Condren, I believe I will.
Peeling back that paper I got my first glimpse at this gorgeous planner. I couldn’t be more excited!
One of the things I absolutely loved this year was being able to personalize the entire planner. From cover, to coil color, to even the inside contents.
I personalized my cover again with my name and website. I chose a classic platinum coil, because I love how it looks with this cover. I also went with the neutral insides. I love, love them (photo of neutral look below).
I also chose a Horizontal layout because the vertical made me kinda crazy. Not sure why. I also find hourly to be too rigid for my schedule, so it’s easier to just put a time next to something that happens.
I also chose to have the final months of 2016 added so that I could start using it immediately, effectively making it an 18 month calender. Totally worth it! (just for the record, I have now found I am definitely NOT a horizontal planner… vertical all the way!)
I absolutely love this cover. The colors. *swoon* The hearts. *Double Swoon*
I love how my name and website look.
Like I said, the platinum coil looks extra beautiful with this particular cover. Plus no fear of chipping or anything, like a few others have mentioned with the other colors.
And finally, the neutral insides. I love how they look. I love that I don’t have to “mask” colors anymore, cover words and things that are on the page unless I want to. I can just use what I have.
I cannot WAIT to start filling this up with all of my sticky notes and crappy planner information. I will be sharing some pages soon.
